Privacy Policy
Last updated October 20, 2026
This policy explains how Law Offices of Pejman Behkar, APC handles information submitted through askpjlaw.com. Using this website or submitting information does not create an attorney-client relationship.
Information you provide
If you use the website request form, the firm collects your name, a safe email address and/or phone number, contact preferences, service category, self-reported referral source, originating page, and limited campaign tags. The form does not request Social Security numbers, A-numbers, passport numbers, detailed case facts, or documents. The consultation intake form embedded on this website submits the information you enter directly to MyCase for the firm's review. If you schedule through Calendly or pay through LawPay, those providers process the information you submit under their own privacy practices.
Abuse prevention and duplicate protection
The website stores keyed, non-readable fingerprints of submission tokens, contact identifiers, and network addresses to limit abusive requests, coordinate secure processing, and prevent duplicate prospective-client records. Raw network addresses and plain contact details are not stored in this technical ledger. Rate-limit and submission records use short operational retention periods; duplicate-protection contact mappings expire after 12 months unless refreshed by a later submission. These records are not used for advertising.
Returning to a consultation
A necessary cookie lets the same browser return to a consultation payment and intake for up to 30 days. It contains a random identifier, not your answers or card details, and is not used for advertising. Keep the payment receipt if you clear cookies or change browsers. Do not pay again if you have already paid.
The short form after a confirmed consultation payment collects your name, email, preferred language, brief question, optional deadline, and whether email contact is safe. Answers are encrypted in the website database and accessible only through the firm owner's authenticated intake view. This form does not automatically create a MyCase record. The scheduling link prefills the payer's name and email from LawPay into Calendly; you can review them before booking. Do not include sensitive identifiers or documents in the brief question.
Google Analytics
Google's measurement tag loads on every page in a cookieless, consent-denied mode (Google Consent Mode). Until you choose, it sets no cookies and sends only anonymous, aggregated signals that cannot identify you. Cookies and full measurement begin only after you select "Allow analytics & ad measurement." Advertising personalization and remarketing remain disabled; advertising storage is used only for the Google Ads conversion measurement described below. The site does not send names, email addresses, phone numbers, service selections, form answers, or case details to Google Analytics. Campaign parameters in the page address (for example utm_ tags or a Google Ads click identifier) are passed to Google Analytics so we can see which campaign or referring service a visit came from; they do not identify you. You may decline without affecting your ability to use the site.
If you choose "Allow analytics & ad measurement," we also allow Google Ads conversion measurement, which uses cookies to tell us whether a visit that started from one of our Google ads led to a call, consultation request or payment. We do not use advertising cookies for personalized or remarketing advertising, and you can withdraw this choice at any time using the "Change analytics preferences" button.
You can change your analytics choice at any time using the button below. Declining keeps Google Analytics in that cookieless mode: no cookies and no identifiers are set.
Third-party services
MyCase hosts the consultation intake form and manages prospective-client records, Calendly provides appointment scheduling, and LawPay processes consultation payments. Information you give those services is handled by the applicable provider and the firm.
Hosting, embedded content and analytics providers
This site is served through Cloudflare, which receives the network address and browser details of every request to protect and deliver the site. Some pages embed content from other providers that load when the page opens and may receive your IP address and browser details and set their own cookies: Google Maps (office map), Elfsight (Google reviews widget on the Reviews page), and image or icon delivery networks. We do not control those providers’ practices; their privacy policies govern what they collect.
Tracking across other sites
We do not track your activity across other websites or over time, and we do not allow advertising networks to do so through this site. Because we do not engage in that kind of tracking, we do not respond differently to “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control browser signals; Google's measurement tag runs in cookieless mode until you choose “Allow analytics & ad measurement,” and you can withdraw that choice at any time using the button above.
Reviewing or correcting your information
To review, correct or ask us to delete contact information you submitted through this website, email ask@askpjlaw.com or call 424-421-5552. We will verify that the request comes from you before acting. Records we must keep for legal, ethical or professional-responsibility reasons, including client files, are retained under our file-retention policy rather than this process.
Changes to this policy
When we make a material change to this policy, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and post a notice on this page for at least 30 days. Continued use of the site after the effective date means the updated policy applies.
Mobile information and SMS consent
If you use our separate SMS Consent Form, we store your name, mobile number, the choice you make, the consent wording and its version, the source page, and the submission date in the firm's private website records. These records document your communication preference for office review. The form does not automatically send a text or create an appointment or MyCase record. Consent is optional and is not a condition of purchasing services.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the Text Message services. We may provide information to service providers acting on our behalf only as needed to store consent, support customers, deliver messages, process opt-outs, or maintain the service, and when disclosure is required by law. Text messaging may be delivered through VXT and its messaging providers.
We do not send mobile numbers, SMS preferences, or form answers to analytics or advertising services. We keep consent and opt-out records as needed to administer communication preferences, document consent, and meet applicable obligations. To stop texts, reply STOP to a firm message or contact the office at 424-421-5552 or ask@askpjlaw.com. See our SMS Terms & Conditions for message frequency, charges, and help.
